Bombay Bicycle Club have been the apple of my eye for quite some time, this band truly make my knees weak and now they’re back with a brand new single and details of their upcoming fourth album.
Currently untitled, the new album has been produced by lead-singer Jack Steadman and recorded at the band’s own studio. With writing sessions taking place all over the world, Jack spent time in India and Turkey, amongst other places, really crafting and perfecting the record.
Carry Me, the band’s comeback single, really follows on from where their last studio album left off. Overflowing with samples and funky bass, the songs opening minute wouldn’t sound out of place on the dance floor. As Carry Me gets into its stride though, you start to hear the Indian influence shine through, as Bhangra rhythms take over and the song erupts into a cacophony of sounds.
Carry Me is available to buy at midnight tonight (November 4th), and the band’s new album will be released on February 3rd.
