Check out Brighton act Bernholz and his two new tracks released today via Anti-Ghost Moon Ray.

My History is ‘based around a lyrical theme of selective memory’ a song exercising brilliance in synth minimalism.

Alive moves into more unnerving territory, with demented synths and dissonant vocals, that leads into a protest chant from the 1977 film Holocaust 2000;  this is without ever losing its funky and catchy groove.

Also check out the music video for My History directed by Esther Springett (who also directed Gazelle Twin‘s latest music video Belly of the Beast), which expertly mixes together video and photography, emphasising the mosaic-like ambiguity of human memory.
